Re: My First .GIF Image
ok step by step btw this works awsome with userbars (my next task lol)
1. make each image you want to animate in a separate panel and when you finish merge all layers (so it only has one)
2. open a new panel
3. open up each picture you want to use as a new layer (make sure there are no blank layers when you do this)
4. go to file => save as and choose the file extension as .gif
5. a notification will pop up saying .gif doesn't support layers, do you want to animate or flatten them (flatten is the default choice but click on animate then hit generate or next (i forget exactly what the button is lol))
6. choose the speed as 1000 milliseconds and check the box for apply this to all slides and choose frame disposal as i don't care
7. open up the file from where ever you saved it with windows picture and fax viewer or anything like that (this is because if you open it up with GIMP it won't show the animation) this will let you test your animation. it should move on its own
8. congrats: you made an animation
